Our Goals
2024 has been a year of resilience, innovation, and global collaboration for WIMAGE. Guided by our mission to empower women and youth through transparency, accountability, and inclusive development, we have deepened our impact across 12 country chapters.
This year, our programs advanced critical Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs):
- SDG 5 (Gender Equality): Over 60% of initiatives were women-led, ensuring that women’s voices shape governance and industry.
- SDG 8 (Decent Work & Economic Growth): Through youth leadership training, we prepared the next generation for meaningful participation in civic and economic life.
- SDG 10 (Reduced Inequalities): Our advocacy platforms gave marginalized groups access to dialogue and decision-making.
- SDG 16 (Peace, Justice & Strong Institutions): More than 5,000 youth leaders were trained in civic engagement, strengthening grassroots governance capacity.
For every $100 invested, WIMAGE can support the training of three new youth leaders in civic engagement, multiplying the ripple effect of stronger institutions and more accountable leadership.
Looking ahead, WIMAGE’s scalable model of women-led chapters is ready to expand into five additional African countries by 2026. With strategic investment, we can double our reach, amplify our advocacy, and deepen our support to women and youth driving transformation in their communities.
We remain committed to transparency: 70% of our resources go directly into programs, 20% support essential administration, and 10% sustain outreach and fundraising. This balance ensures both impact and sustainability.
